"Up until now, my pieces have reminded me of mountains, but this time I wanted to use a rather materialistic object as my template. I usually pile up boxes, cover them in a polyethylene film and hang them in the air with fine threads. When the boxes are removed, the film remains in its position," the artist explains, as he contemplates his bowl of tea. "The CLA has something organic about it, a natural, aerodynamic shape, which results in its low wind resistance. This is where the parallels to my art lie, I think." Deactivating wind resistance, defying the forces of nature - an ambitious goal, shared by the artist and the CLA, and resulting in an astonishing spectacle.
